Beverly Miller

Born and raised in Brooklyn having  grown up throughly supported in my artistic adventures by my parents, spend every summer in the Borscht Belt at my Grandparents hotel, working and being in the woods, the value of independence and security that was enjoyed is hopefully transmitted through my art

Having found art to be my passion at a young age I followed that into Scenic Art as a career. After many years of a satisfying and diverse role as a Scenic Artist and Labor Leader I have returned to my own painting that focuses on the vision of nature and our emotional involvement with her.  I enjoy being in nature and found that my interpretation and focus can be expressed for others to enjoy through my paintings and graphite drawings. I try to bring the peace and insight of my experience to others through my art. 

Attended Pratt Institute, designed jewelry for Cartier and then became a Scenic Artist with Local USA 829 working in the Entertainment Industry in TV, Film, Met Opera and Broadway. Served as President and Business Representative for Local USA 829 for 25 years and am now retired , living in Nyack
