Lorella

Lorella, with over 25 years of experience teaching art, has honed her eye for the extraordinary in the ordinary. However, it's her passion for photography that truly drives her. She aims to capture images that make people stop and think, "Hmm... wow, that's different." It's all about seeing the world in a unique way, finding beauty and intrigue where it's least expected. Through her eyes, which are her lens, Lorella captures moments that challenge conventional views, inviting viewers to explore the world through a fresh and imaginative perspective, sparking curiosity and wonder. She seek to reveal beauty in unexpected places. 

As an artist, my medium is the camera, and my favorite lens is my eyes.

*1st Place in a worldwide online photo Black and White Competition: 

*Resilience Art Show at the Garner Arts Center.  A Juried Virtual Photography Exhibition by a Pulitzer Prize Winning Juror. 

*National Wildlife Federation: The Dragonfly Wing photo won second place out of 25,000 entries for the 46th annual photo competition in the National Wildlife Magazine. 

*Halls of the American Association for the Advancement of Science in downtown Washington DC. (The Dragonfly Wing photo was also chosen to be displayed) was 1 of 50 in the exhibit and 1 of the 10 photos from around the world that were featured in the headquarters building. The goal of the exhibition is to spotlight the conservation work of the National Wildlife Federation. The nation's largest science based conservation organization as well as to celebrate wildlife photography and the role it can play in inspiring wildlife and habitat conservation. The photo helps support the conservation mission of the National Wildlife Federation dedicated to saving wildlife species and their habitats. 

*BunBury Coffee Shop in Piermont. (Underwater Floral Abstractions in 2020 and Feathers, Crystals, Reflections...Oh My in 2023)
